­Fascinating composers, performers and cultural icons await your discovery with the Classical Series. Acclaimed performers like Yakov Kasman, Jeffrey Biegel and William Wolfram join our own fantastic DPO talents Jessica Hung, Alan Siebert and Robyn Costa to form a starry lineup of soloists. Some not-to-be-missed performances include Bruce Cromer's one-man Shakespearean accompaniment to Prokofiev's Romeo & Juliet, a newly commissioned work from William Bolcom called Prometheus, Stella Sung's musical tribute to Norman Rockwell, Bartok's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta, and Mahler's magnificent Resurrection Symphony No. 2.
